Mark WarnckenLinkedIn Expert
Mark is a LinkedIn Trainer with a 30 year career in sales and training, combining all this knowledge and expertise to become one of Australia's leading LinkedIn experts. The amazing world of LinkedIn has him travelling all around Australia working with corporate groups, one-on-oneconsolations and at speaking engagements. Prue MacSweenSocial Commentator and PR Director
Prue trained as a cadet journalist in a local newspaper, while completing a four-year Advertising and Marketing course at Sydney Tech.
She started her television career at TNQ 7 Townsville, where she was a reporter and newsreader and went on to host her own live programs, a daily childrens’ show and a weekly womens’ chat and interview program.
Prue was spotted by Channel Nine Sydney and was offered a job as a reporter for Nine’s Sydney news. She also read daytime news bulletins.
She was then asked to join Nine’s Melbourne daytime current affairs show, No Man’s Land, where she was one of the all-female reporting team.
Prue then moved to Channel Nine Perth and four years later, returned to Melbourne as a reporter for Southdown Press magazines. After five years, she was transferred to Sydney to run TV Week as NSW Editor.
Prue now heads Sydney-based PR and marketing company, Verve Communications and she is an occasional radio presenter on Radio 2UE Sydney and social commentator on A Current Affair, Today Tonight, Sky News and Sunrise.
She recently appeared in television programs, Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Celebrity Apprentice.
Prior to this, she was a regular panelist on Beauty and the Beast for FOXTEL and the Ten Network. It was there she formed a strong friendship with Australia’s most famous sex change, Carlotta.
Her biography on the famous Kings Cross icon, called “I’m Not That Kind Of Girl”, was published by Pan MacMillan in 2003. A best-seller, it went into its fifth reprint. The ABC has recently produced a TV drama based on the book.
Prue serves on an Advisory Committee for Cancer Australia and is an Ambassador for the charities, Save Our Sons, Youth Off The Streets, Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and Million For Melanoma.
