Publisher of Fashion and Health, Pacific Magazines

Jackie Frank has been living and breathing magazines and media for 30 years. Her love affair with the industry began in the fashion team of Harper’s Bazaar Australia, after which she went on to work at international prestige titles such as UK and US Elle, Mademoiselle, and UK and US marieclaire.
In 1995, Jackie was lured back home to Australia to become the inaugural editor of Australian marieclaire, which she has led to the heights of success for the past 20 years, making her the longest standing editor in the country. The magazine has won more than 50 awards, including Magazine of the Year and the Publishers Australia Excellence Award. In 2005, the same year Jackie won Editor of the Year at Australia’s most prestigious magazine awards, she was also made publisher of marieclaire.
A strong campaigner for women’s rights, Jackie is committed to making a difference to the lives of Australian women, raising awareness through marieclaire’s award-winning campaigns about issues such as heart health, domestic violence and depression, as well as placing the need for paid maternity leave and marriage equality firmly on the political agenda.
Jackie is a regular personality on local media, appearing on the Seven Network’s Sunrise (Australia’s number one breakfast show) and bringing her ‘Frankly Speaking’ interviews to Seven’s successful Sunday Night news and entertainment show. She has featured as a judge on Make Me a Supermodel in 2008, and in the 2011 behind-the-scenes show marieclaire Under the Cover, and she was one of several famous female figures asked to contribute to an inspiring book, 500 Words of Wisdom, published in 2013.
Jackie continues to juggle her many roles – as mother, manager, TV personality, journalist, businesswoman, author and social media enthusiast. In November 2014, she was appointed Group Publisher of Fashion and Health at Pacific Magazines, and today she oversees the titles Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Diabetic Living, Prevention, InStyle and, of course, marieclaire.
