Michael FieldFound, Michael Field Pty Ltd
Michael Field is the founder of Michael Field Pty Ltd. Founded in 2008 as an independent consultancy, it specialises in strategy implementation for medium sized business-to-business, not-for-profit and member services associations. Clients include Marbletrend (ASX:MBD), Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, Australian Marketing Institute, wagamama and REINSW.
His early career was in advertising, marketing and publications, progressing into online marketing with the launch of an ASX-listed online business directory, followed by senior roles in technology companies.
Michael served as a non-executive director on the board of Save the Children Victoria and council member of Save the Children New South Wales. He is also a former guest lecturer in marketing at ECU in WA.
Michael founded the LinkedIn group Next Director for aspiring and emerging company directors in 2008. Now with more than 4,500 company directors globally, LinkedIn acknowledged Next Director for best practice in group management when they celebrated their 100million member milestone in March 2011.
Amanda CollingeSeries Producer, Q&A ABC TV
Amanda Collinge has worked for 20 years as a TV and Radio presenter, reporter and producer. She cut her teeth as a journalist at 4ZZZ.FM radio in Brisbane during the reign of Joh Bjelke Petersen. Several years at Triple Jay radio in Sydney followed , as journalist, EP News and finally presenter of the Morning Show. During this time Amanda also made documentaries for Radio National, and worked on the innovative ABC youth programs, Beatbox and Blah Blah Blah.
Finally outgrowing rock n’ roll journalism, Amanda moved to Spain where she established her own media company, selling radio and TV features and documentaries to the BBC, Deutsche Welle and SBS Australia. For 3 years she worked as Madrid correspondent for BBC and Deutsche Velle and became fluent in Spanish. On her return to Australia, Amanda worked as a television reporter for the ABC and SBS on Lateline, Dateline and Insight. She won 3 United Nations Media Peace Awards for Insight, and a Logie nomination for her Insight forum on the trial of David Hicks.
For the past three years, Amanda has worked as Series Producer of Q&A, helping shape it into what is now regarded as one of television’s most successful experiments in public democracy. As well as choosing panellists, and helping guide the show editorially, Amanda is responsible for selecting and publishing the on-screen tweets that feature on Q&A each Monday night. A groundbreaking step in interactive TV, #qanda has annoyed some, delighted most, and created a new community.
John BatistichDirector of Marketing, Westfield Group
John Batistich, Director of Marketing for the Westfield Group, the world's largest listed retail property owner. Over 20 years of experience in Research, Marketing and General Management with blue chip companies like Lion Nathan, Kimberly Clark, PepsiCo Foods and The Wrigley Company.
He holds a Masters in Management degree from MGSM majoring in Human Resources, a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Western Sydney majoring in Marketing and a Certificate in Digital Marketing from ADMA.
He has lead marketing communications that have won a Cannes Lion award and an Australian Effective Awards. A member of the Australian Market & Social Research Society Client Advisory Board and has been a member of the Australian Research Awards judging panel.
John is also a member of the Board of Governors for The Heart Research Institute, a leading medical science institute dedicated to the early detection, prevention and reversal of heart disease.
